Question by oceancountydude: Can distance reiki cause the back of my head to become all wet?
A number of times in the morning recently I wake-up noticing the back of my head (hair) is soaked. I do get distance reiki done on me regularly during the overnite hours. Does it sound like it is related? If so, why my hair?

Reiki might cause you to sweat profusely if you have a lot of energy flowing through you. Usually this is because it is stagnated. Whoever is working on you, encourage them to use chelation, and focus on each chakra specifically.

Achieving a Healthy State of Mind, Body, and Spirit through Holistic Healing

Pittsburgh, PA (Vocus/PRWEB) December 14, 2010

Author Zita Iwuoha, CSJ helps readers undergo a healing of the mind, body, and spirit in Disposing Yourself To Total Healing, an Xlibris release. In this book, she focuses on a kind of healing that engages all realms of human life: a holistic healing.

According to the author, all human beings are made up of mind, soul, spirit, and body. Most of the sicknesses that people suffer are a result of the state of mind and spirit. Unfortunately, the medical profession is designed to give greater attention to the physical body. Much time has been spent in studying the anatomy and physiology of the body, but little attention has been given to the area of the mind and soul.

As such, she pens a book that aims at exploring the integral bond between spirit, mind, and body. Disposing Yourself To Total Healing teaches readers that in order to receive holistic healing, one has to position oneself to be healed. This book highlights the importance of purifying the mind with positive thoughts, praise and worship songs, meditation, and constant prayer. Only through this can one achieve total healing.

“God is always working miracles in our life; we just have to dispose ourselves to receive them. Self-disposition starts in the mind; it is also a gift from God. Before any physical healing occurs, the mind will be ready for that transformation to take place,” the author says.

Question by Merritina: Do reiki masters/practitioners use or see auras at all? Isn’t it just the Universal Life Energy?
Hello icon smile Do reiki masters/practitioners use or see auras at all? Isnt it just the Universal Life Energy?
I’ve been interested in reiki for a while, and I’m going to maybe take a class, but I’ve seen auras surrounding people, animals, and plants for years. How closely related are auras and reiki healing?

Best answer:

Answer by Champion of Knowledge
I would think that the ability to see auras would be quite helpful to a reiki practitioner.

Question by : Is Reiki Therapy really beneficial for those suffering from depression and anxiety?
I’ve been going through a lot and I’ve tried counseling but not really a big help so I was wondering if Reiki would help me?

Best answer:

Answer by ReikiRising
I have worked on other people with depression and I can vouch for Reiki. It really helps. I cannot say how many sittings would it take to see signs of improvement as every person is different from another but from what I’ve seen, improvements can be seen in a month’s time. The schedule that I use is as follows: 3-1, 5-1, 7-1, 15-1, 30-1, end.

Question by : What is the best way to get ‘attention’ at a trade show for a life coach?
I have just become a life coach in this past year. Part of my marketing plans include trade shows, and I have two coming up in September and October. I’ve got all of my brochures, and business cards, and free give aways, but I need to make my display board. I need ideas to make it professional, attractive, and attention grabbing….

New Book Offers Insight and Knowledge of Holistic Healing

Homewood, Ill. (PRWEB) January 11, 2012

“The Nature of Reiki: A Path of Inclusion” (published by Balboa Press) is a very personal journey of 20 years in which the nature of life force energy, that is the nature of light and Love, slowly emerged to become a far more important factor in John David Sparks’ understanding of Reiki than the techniques or the history which are usually emphasized. Sparks connects the character and core of Reiki with the ability to illuminate the beauty and joy inherent in life itself.

The word “reiki” is a Japanese word that can be translated as “universal life force energy.” The common belief that Reiki is a technique or modality of hands-on healing can be a limiting concept, Sparks maintains.

Using a synthesis of some of the world’s most influential teachings, Sparks guides readers through his own experience. He suggests that Reiki is more than a technique of hands-on healing; it is also a path of inclusion that connects all traditions seeking a balanced life. “The Nature of Reiki” “…shows us ways to stay in balance as we move through life’s twists, turns and ups and downs,” he says.

For readers who already share this understanding, and for those who are ready to begin the healing journey to their own divinity, this book is a valuable resource. It offers: a quantum leap in the understanding of Reiki; powerful “I AM” affirmations for healing and self-empowerment; fascinating new insights into the Usui symbols, and tips on how walking the Path of Inclusion can bring peace to life.

“The Nature of Reiki” “…encourages the reader to establish a new connection with the energy and allow its nature to unfold and guide them on their life path. It is the core and essence of who we are.”

About the Author

John David Sparks began his metaphysical studies in 1972. He works as a teacher, healer and writer, traveling nationally and internationally to share his expanded vision of Reiki as a life path. In 1990 he became a massage therapist, and in 1991 took his first Reiki class. In 1994 he opened Insight Awareness, a holistic healing center near Chicago, where he continues to teach.
