I just lost my nana and tried this on her when she was ill with cancer. It seemed to work on her for about 3 hours, calmed her down and she was able to sleep for a few hours without being distressed. I now feel this is something I would like to do and change my career. I have searched on the internet but Aberdeen seems to be the nearest place to do a course. Thanks for any sensible answers.
My husband and my brother in law are both Reiki masters. If you google residential courses you should find one close to you. They are usually done over a weekend and its the best way to learn as after your first attunement you can suffer really bad migraine headaches which they can guide you through. There is also alot to learn n a short space of time. You cannot practise on others until you have studied for and been attuned to level 2 otherwise you can actually harm yourself and others if you don’t wait and do it properly. I don’t begin to pretend to know how it works – I just know that it is a powerful tool for healing. There are books available on EBay which can help you in your study. Look for Gary and Adele Malone – their study books are very good. Good luck xxx

depending on where you live in the north west there are courses available.check your local paper and college for courses. i know there are courses in lancaster and morecambe? if thats any use to you.
