Question by : My wife has been going to a healer for twelve years and still gets headaches every night?
Her name is Nancy and she goes to an Indian healer named John Redcorn. He gives her deep tissues massages but she still gets bad migraines. Is there a better solution? What is going on here???

It’s called she needs to see an actual doctor and get some actual medicine. Those healer people aren’t the most reliable people to go to when you have a medical issue.

Question by Reiki Healer: What should I charge as a Reiki Master?
How can one measure the total benefit of a Reiki session?
Of course there is always the immediate effect but sometimes there are huge effects afterwards.
That is of course nothing we know in regular medicine and so one is not used with price-calculation in that sense.
Well, there is one case known of a nun having had a heart transplant and becoming an alcoholic afterwards, and that can of course be seen as a spiritual transformation, which has not been paid for directly.
Please professionals give your advise.

Exercise uses up a lot of energy, which the cells derive from oxidizing glucose. Both glucose and oxygen have to be delivered by the blood. This means that the heart has to work harder to pump more blood through the body. This means it has to beat faster in order to achieve a higher throughput, as described by this equation:

If you don’t know reiki, google it. Reiki basically means "universal energy" in Japanese. Practically speaking Reiki is used by practitioners to assist people in healing. It does NOT replace traditional medicine, only supplements it.

Yes, I believe in Reiki’s practical applications because I have seen it’s effects. I am a Reiki practitioner and have seen aches and pains go away almost instantly when I’ve worked on clients, friends and family. Reiki is not always instant relief, sometimes it takes multiple sessions for the client to feel any significant relief. I also have seen puppies that were so weak and small gain over an ounce overnight after receiving Reiki energy.

I also believe that in order to receive a healing, you have to be open to receiving the healing in your deepest soul. If you have an illness or disease due to a karmic issue, than it doesn’t matter what kind of treatment you complete, nothing will help until the lessons involved with that illness or disease has been learned.

The NCCAM, an agency which receives grant money from the National Institutes of Health, classifies Reiki Therapy as a form of Complementary and Alternative therapy, just as they do with chiropractic care, Acupuncture, and massage therapy. As such, why would someone continue to have a negative perception about Reiki Therapy?

Firstly I believe that people tend to be afraid of what they don’t know or understand. That’s the beginning of the problem. In addition, in most countries, reiki is still relatively unregulated. This means that anyone can call themselves a reiki practitioner/master/teacher with no knowledge or understanding with very little legal repercussions. I personally know people who insist they are bonafide reiki practitioners who were trained and attuned while they slept from some guy they paid $60 to overseas. I tried explaining that they were scammed, and that you cannot be trained and attuned while you sleep, but because they’ve paid out their money, they feel they can legitimately make that claim. So what happens from here? those people go out and advertise themselves. Any clients they do see would very quickly come to realize that this person is full of crap and knows nothing.

The problem with that is that often Reiki gets the blame rather then the person who made false claims. And thus the gossip spreads.

In addition, some people do not really understand how the body works, and therefore put far more trust in pills and western medicine then they should. Most western people also have a disconnect between what they eat, exercise, sleep and how they feel on a day to day basis. So these people are never going to accept reiki no matter what others say.

But times are changing. Reiki is becoming more mainstream as people become more educated on it. There are associations out there that work to regulate the industry and who advocate for the government to take a bigger role in monitoring claims and education. This will help hugely.

In the meantime, as a Reiki Master myself, I don’t worry about the nay sayers. I put my energy towards work to help educate those who are interested in learning, and providing treatments for those who want it.

Just my thoughts.

I’ve been feeling a bit down recently due to a number of factors and feel that i’m constantly trying to climb out of a big hole that i’m slipping back into. I really don’t want to go to the doctors to be prescribed happy pills. Is there any complementary therapy/medicine that would help? I’ve heard of reiki and things like that? Any suggestions would be great thanks x
I’m not in London, I live in the North of Scotland……

@ Buddha. I’d suggest that your expereince of Reiki was subject to the practitioner. Quantum Physics is in agreement with things such as Reiki. It cured me of cocaine addiciton within 3 weeks. I now teach Reiki.

Reiki is being used in mainstrema hospitials all over the world. and is th esubject of many scientific papers supporting it.
