Question by Isoi: Choosing Right Reiki Master?
Do you know whether a Reiki Master will provide his/her contact number to the students so that they can contact him/her if they have any discomforts after the Reiki attunement?
A friend went for Reiki Level 1 attunement and experienced severe discomforts, more than what he could handle. But he could not contact the Reiki Master personally because the Master visits his country a few times a year only and also the Master had never offered to treat him, but always asked him to see someone else to check what’s wrong.
So I thought for those who are considering Reiki attunement, play safe, choose one Master who is stationed in yr country and could treat u if u experience discomforts, and one who offers to give you their contact no.

First, I dislike using the term “Master”.I perfer shihan, which is licensed instructor. I always provide my number and email to my students, hold free weekly shares for practice, and always make sure they have all the support they need.
I have heard stories where the student was attuned, and then just left to the einds of fate. That is really bad for the Reiki community. Attunement does not equal ability, experience, or knowledge. I feel that anyone teaching a reiki class should give out their contact information.
